Commonly asked questions

• All referrals to The Royal Marsden must be supported by full medical records. NHS referrals must be made by a GP or hospital doctor currently in charge of the patient's care. For information about private patient referrals please contact the private patient liaison office via the menu form below.
• If you are at all concerned about your health or your treatment we would strongly recommend that you talk to your own doctor for advice and information about what is best for you at the earliest opportunity. We regret we are unable to answer individual clinical questions via the web site email facility.
• For information about ongoing research at The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research you may view our Joint Annual Research Report.
• Alternatively to search for ongoing clinical trials you may search the UK National Research Register. The Royal Marsden is not responsible for this register but submits data for inclusion in it on a regular basis. This register contains details of all clinical trials taking place within the UK National Health Service.
