The Sarcoma Unit at The Royal Marsden is one of largest of its kind in Europe. It is recognised world-wide for its strength in diagnosing and treating sarcoma. The Unit is comprised of a team of highly trained and dedicated doctors and nurses who offer state-of-the-art healthcare to patients both as outpatients and inpatients.
This is done with a maximum of efficiency while treating every patient with the sensitivity, compassion and discretion he/she deserves. Each member of the Unit places a high priority on ongoing research into sarcoma and other cancers and publishes regularly in national and international journals.
