The Julian Bloom Lecture Theatre is a modern and well-equipped space ideal for conferences and education days.

The room seats 120 people in comfortable seats with spacious legroom. The seating is raked, allowing all delegates a good view of the stage.

When you hire The Julian Bloom Lecture Theatre, The Refectory is made available for you at no extra cost. This spacious and airy room is ideal for event registration, refreshments and exhibition stands.

The lecture theatre has the following equipment:

• dual 35mm slide overhead projector
• VHS/DVD video player
• CD/tape player
• microphones
• hearing loop.

The use of all audiovisual equipment is included in the room hire rates. An in-house technician is available to advise on equipment use and provide support during your event.

Hire costs

• Full day (08.00 to 18.00): £1,200
• Half-day (08.00 to 13.30 or 13.30 to 18.00): £950

For day-long events with fewer than 60 attendees, the half-day rate will be charged.
